ACT Critical List
The ACT Critical Skills List was last updated on 1 September 2021. It applies to all Canberra Matrix, regardless of when they were submitted.
We will update the list every four months to make sure that the ACT Skilled Migration Program adapts and responds to the evolving critical skills needs of the ACT economy.
Canberra Matrix Application form
Before completing the Canberra Matrix you must read the ACT nomination guidelines carefully to make sure that you meet the eligibility criteria for ACT nomination. If you are invited to apply for ACT nomination, your supporting documentation must evidence your eligibility and the Matrix score claimed at the date you submitted the Matrix. Documents dated after the Matrix was submitted will not be accepted.
Canberra Small Business Owner pathway
You can apply for ''ACT Matrix'' through the ''Small Business Owner`` pathway in Canberra.
For 190/491 ACT nomination under SBO stream
your nominated occupation does not need to be on the ACT Critical Skills List.
If you meet the requirements of the Small Business Owner stream in ACT
you might be invited to apply for ACT 491 or 190 nomination.
The cut-off selection will depend on demand.
